We’re super excited to share this one! This is our newest package we are offering and our first “Couple’s Story Film” we got to create. A big part of why we do what we do is because we love to capture, document, and tell stories. We had an idea of what we wanted this new package to look like, but honestly we’re taking a big leap filming our couples outside of their wedding day and trying to figure out how we wanted to approach it creatively. Preston and Jamie straight up knocked it out of the park for us. Them being so comfortable with each other in front of the camera made us feel more comfortable filming, and we can’t be happier with how their video turned out.
Their Wedding Day
Talk about a beautiful couple, a beautiful day, beautiful details, beautiful cards, personal vows, and one heck of a reception!!
It started off with the guys and girls getting ready on separate floors of an amazing historical Richmond home. We loved how the guys and girls were all right there in one big house, but Jamie and Preston never saw each other before hand and kept that a surprise! We headed off to their intimate ceremony filled with family and close friends and it was perfect and emotional.
Havana 59 was the most perfect spot for their fun-filled reception. We enjoyed filming in the different vibe and feel compared to the typical barnes and tents we typically film in around our area. Their family and friends sure know how to get down and Brett and I picked up some awesome new dance ideas…including that jump rope thing!! Anyone else ever seen it? So fun!
My Favorite Part
The grooms reaction. Cliche? Maybe, but doesn’t every bride want that reaction from her soon-to-be hubby? 😉 Also, the jump rope dance move…totally doing that at the next wedding we attend and I’m not pregnant at. Haha!
Brett’s Favorite Part
Jamie and Preston’s togetherness. Their families togetherness. It was just all around awesome to capture and be apart of. You could feel it. Jamie’s family also did a huge sing along to Bohemian rhapsody at the end of the night. It was epic. 😂
